Ms. Minton Beddoes was appointed editor-in-chief and director in February 2015 and oversees all editorial content for the Group. She previously served as business affairs editor. She joined The Economist in 1994 after spending two years as an economist at the International Monetary Fund.

Mr. Bagchee joined the Group in 2020 from CNBC where he was senior vice president of product and technology and previously held a number of senior roles overseeing digital and product teams in London and Singapore.

Mr. Bew joined the EIU in 1995, as an editor before becoming chief economist in 1997 and editorial director in 2006. Previously, he served as an economist at HM Treasury, the UK’s finance ministry.

Mr. Bridge joined the Group in October 2019 to establish a new Project Management Office. Previously, he has held senior roles at RBS, TUI, Reed Elsevier, UBM and Informa.

Mr. Cohn joined The Economist in January 2020. Prior to joining the Group he served as president and before that, digital editor of The Atlantic. He was also executive editor at Wired and covered the White House and the US Supreme Court for Newsweek.

Mr. Hemming joined the Group in July 2019. Previously, he served as chief executive of the TMT division of Informa plc. He has also served as a media adviser to private equity groups and events companies.

Mr. Ms. Miller was appointed chief marketing officer in June 2020. She previously served as chief marketing officer at Flatiron School and prior to that, held senior roles at Consumer Reports, J. Crew Group and Time Inc.

Mr. Grut joined the Group in 1998, to lead The Economist’s digital editions business and served as managing director for its digital operations. Prior to that he worked at Linklaters.

Mr. Palmer joined The Economist in February 2007. He previously held several positions including business affairs editor, head of the data team and Americas editor. Prior to that, he served in a variety of editorial roles at the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU).

Mr. Pinnegar joined the Group in 2001 as publisher Asia Pacific. Prior to that he served as regional media director and group media director at Leo Burnett, both in the UK and Asia.

Tom originally joined The Economist in 1998 as its science correspondent. He subsequently held the positions of the technology editor, business editor and the business affairs editor. Tom is also the lead for the Group’s digital strategy.
